Carrie was raised in Central and South America. She has been practicing astrology since 1981. In 1996, she was certified to consult as an astrologer from the National Council for Geocosmic Research. In 2000, she obtained a master's in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. She trained and worked for Child Guidance in Philadelphia. She is a member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR) and The American Federation of Astrologers (AFAN). She regularly attends both astrology and therapy conferences to stay connected with both fields that she finds inseparable to her practice.
