Think of retrograde periods as a time for soul-reflection in contrast to outer ego-driven activity. Attend to those aspects of soul which you have been neglecting. Soulful activities are not always large and dramatic events. Soul is found in the particulars of our lives. Let retrograde periods be the time when you cultivate images. Chances are your imagination will lead you to what issues each retrograde period will highlight for you. Whether Mercury, Venus, or Mars, etc... it doesn't matter!
